![]() In August, Electronic Arts said that it was rebranding its Origin Access and EA Origin subscription services to simply EA Play. This was the same time that the Big M revealed that EA Play would be coming to the Ultimate tier of Xbox Game Pass. Since August 2019, users have been paying $4.99 each month but will be asked to shell out $9.99 to access the service. Microsoft announced earlier in September that it would be increasing the cost of its Xbox Game Pass subscription on PC over a year after it launched. "That means we will have a whole new collection of games coming your way on console and PC, and that some of the best EA Play games will also be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play on Android devices via the cloud." "Beginning in December, members with an Ultimate or PC subscription will be able to download and play games from the EA Play library on Windows 10 PCs," she wrote. In a blog post, Microsoft's CVP of gaming partnerships and ecosystem Sarah Bond revealed that it would be coming to PC just one month after EA Play comes to console on November 10th. PC users will be able to access the EA Play subscription service through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in December.
